Transitional Housing

TRANSITIONAL housing programs typically offer short-term housing for persons who are struggling with addiction problems. These may include shelters for people who may not have yet made a commitment to sobriety or housing for persons who are actively attempting to stay clean and sober. SLE's (Sober Living Environments) are co-op style houses that accommodate persons looking for an alcohol and drug-free living environment after completing a primary recovery program.

Transitional housing programs may provide little or no formal treatment services, or may offer extensive counseling and case management as part of their programs
